Super Visa

The Super Visa is designed for the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Although the family reunification immigration process for parents and grandparents is currently stalled, Super Visas are generally issued and are valid for multiple entries over several years. Each entry allows for a stay of up to five years, effectively addressing the issue of separation between Canadian citizens or permanent residents and their parents.
