Education and employment details forms completed by both the applicant and parents.
A valid passport with at least one full blank page (not the last page), and ideally valid throughout your intended study period.
Two photographs that meet specified requirements, with one of the photos labeled on the back with the person’s name and date of birth.
A copy of your Chinese ID card (front and back).
A copy of the medical examination form provided by a designated physician.
Statement of study plan: Describe your study plan and future career goals based on your academic, technical, or vocational background (maximum one page).
Original household registration book (户口本).
If you are under 18, you need to provide a guardianship declaration from your parents and Canadian guardian.
Study Visa
A copy of the acceptance letter from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. All primary and secondary schools are designated learning institutions.
If planning to study in Quebec, submit a valid Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ).
Provide official copies of all degrees, diplomas, or certificates obtained from the applicant’s most recent secondary or post-secondary institution, along with the latest course transcripts.
If the applicant is 18 years old or older, submit a police clearance certificate for each country or region where the applicant has resided continuously for six months or more since turning 18.
You must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover living expenses in Canada, with a current requirement of at least CAD 10,000 per year. Proof should reflect a history of funds accumulated over at least twelve months, including:
Original bank statements showing available funds dated within the last two months; original deposit slips and/or bank books; original property ownership documents and vehicle registration; and a written explanation of the source of funds (do not submit life insurance policies or other contracts).
Proof of income/employment for your parents: Original employment verification letters from each parent’s current employer (if one or both parents own or partially own a company, submit notarized business registration documents).
If the applicant will receive scholarships or other financial support, submit original documents detailing the expected funding for each year of study.
